Training Packages

After the Intro Lesson, you then move to the training program packages.

The training packages I offer consist of either 3 or 6 one-hour meetings and a follow up session. These sessions can be scheduled either weekly or every other week, depending on you, your dog, their behavior, and your comfort with the exercises.

In the training program, you are the primary trainer for your dog. I help you learn the exercises during our meeting, and then you work on the exercises and games. This is, in my experience, the most effective way of changing your dog's behavior, as behavior is very contextual. As you will be the person with your dog most of the time, you should be the one to train them!

During our weekly meeting, I teach you and your dog training exercises and games. We troubleshoot any issues you're having, and tweak the training plan as needed. I send you an updated training plan with tutorials for the week's exercises after our meeting. Before the next weekly meeting, you train your dog for 10-20 minutes, 4-5 times.

During these six (or three) weeks, we'll also fine-tune the enrichment plan we created in the Intro Lesson.

After our last weekly meeting, there is a Final Check-In which is an hour-long meeting at your home. We schedule the Check-In 2-4 weeks after the last weekly meeting. This allows you another chance for troubleshooting after independent training.
