Pro Daytrain Track

In this track, I help jumpstart your dog's training. This is a great option for busy people. We meet at your home every week for an hour over six weeks. Between the weekly meetings, I train your dog many times a week. These daytrain sessions are at your home when you are at work or otherwise occupied.

During our weekly meeting, I show you what we have been working on during daytraining. Each week you will also do one 10-20 minute training session without me. These weekly meetings and independent training sessions are crucial. They ensure your dog's training will work with you, not only with me.

The first four weeks of the track have 4 daytraining sessions each. The 5th week has 3 daytraining sessions and the 6th week has 2 daytraining sessions. This creates a smoother transition at the end of the program.

During these six weeks, we'll also fine-tune the enrichment plan we created in the Intro Lesson.

After our last weekly meeting, there is a Final Check-In which is an hour-long meeting at your home. We schedule the Check-In 2-4 weeks after the last weekly meeting. This allows you another chance for troubleshooting after independent training.

Additional Considerations

This track is fantastic for people who don't have the time or energy for the initial training. Reactivity is dependent on the environment and the specific scenario. The Pro Daytrain track can have some hiccups when transferring their training to you. This is usually a small setback in training and takes a small amount of time to address. This is why I require the weekly meetings and one independent training session a week. It improves outcomes.

The next term is Spring 2026. Your first meeting will be on or between Friday May 13, 2026 and Wednesday May 19, 2026. The following meetings occur weekly at the same time and day of the week. Your dog's first daytraining sessions will be the week before, starting on or between Tuesday May 5, 2026 and Friday May 15, 2026.

The Final Check-In is 2-4 weeks after the last weekly meeting. It does not need to be during your original time-slot.

Daytraining Session Scheduling

I offer daytraining sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The first four weeks, there are 4 daytraining sessions before each weekly meeting. The 5th week, there are 3 daytraining sessions. The 6th week, there are 2 daytraining sessions.

For daytraining, I ask what days of the week and general times work. For example, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and Saturday Midday. I do not schedule a specific time so I can adjust around my other appointments. I can specify my approximate time of arrival a few days in advance.

You do not need to be present in your home during daytraining sessions.

Daytraining sessions can occur on the same day as the weekly meeting if necessary, but one should occur in the morning and one in the evening or later afternoon.
